We also estimate the overall size and scope of the project. In many instances, the pre-audit analysis is provided at no charge to the customer.
Upon confirmation that an audit is warranted, Water Matrix™ proceeds with a detailed on-site inspection. Key to this review is establishing the ratio of domestic versus non-domestic water consumption. The inspection includes a complete and thorough review of the facility, and the flow measurements of all water-consuming fixtures are recorded.

Precise measurements and attention to detail are vital in producing a thorough report and an accurate savings projection.
The data collected during the on-site audit is downloaded into our proprietary software program. This program was designed by Water Matrix™ and utilizes the intelligence gathered through thousands of audits in the field. Numerous calculations are performed, based on the audit input to establish, analyze and verify the consumption of the existing equipment, and then recalculate the post installation consumption based on the flow rates of the new equipment to be installed. Other information about the facility, such as the measured flow rates, current water and sewer charges, breakdown and distribution of the population, hours of operation, and number of operational days per year are included in the analysis to develop an accurate description of the facility’s consumption patterns.

The final report identifies the most suitable measures including the equipment to be used, the total cost of the installation, the projected savings to be achieved and the resulting payback period.
